- A short and rewarding uphill path leads from the Männlichen summit station to the Männlichen summit (2343m).
- An easy, around one-hour hike on a prepared path leads from the Männlichen summit station down to the Holenstein middle station.
- Return to the valley from Holenstein by gondola cableway or on foot.
- The hike from the Männlichen summit station to Kleine Scheidegg takes about two hours. You cross the Arvengarten nature reserve with its ancient and impressive Swiss stone pines and then reach Kleine Scheidegg either with a 30- minute uphill hike or the easy way with the Arven chairlift.
